Can still be considered "corn belt" like here to not have those high prices and that positive basis when you haul in grain.
NC beans $9.58 (-.65 basis) NC December -.75 basis. NC corn $3.68 (-.50 basis) March and May '26 basis at -.60 currently.
The county I am in also has a lot of sugar beets grown in it. Those raise land rents as well.
Tariffs are a wonderful thing!!!
