SW Ohio | I would think the first targets should be any carbs you drink and any carbs between meals.
I think the constant insulin stimulation created by snacking and drinking carbs between meals is a big part of the problem for a lot of people.
I think if people ate real food even bread and starchy vegetables in 2 or 3 meals a day with nothing between meals from a young age we would have a lot less problems. The constant eating of multiple snacks and drinking pop between meals keeps insulin constantly high.
But if you are overweight, have high blood pressure, pre diabetes or diabetes then the answer to which carbs to cut is probably all carbs. For me it was an all or nothing kind of thing. | |
