Its incredible how creative/talented some of the posters on here are. They can spin any type of weather into killing the crop. Ive said it before it could rain gold coins from the sky and these guys would somehow figure out a way to spin it negatively. Bout like the nebraska farmer telling us we dont realize just how much work it really is harvesting 280 bushel corn off of every irrigated quarter.

Dont want to get into a long winded discussion about the basics of corn production and the variables that affect yield- every person on here that grows corn should have a handle on that by now. A few threads below an illinois farmer was whining and crying about the heat making grain fill go too quickly. Anyone in illinois black layered yet from the 3 day july 20something heat wave? We need more heat and sun as far as i'm concerned to you know- facilitate photosynthesis and stuff? water. heat. sunshine . repeat thats how i'd run it in a greenhouse too
