Subject: RE: dead batteries

Central Illinois
Thanks for all the replies. I think I found the problem. Both batteries had a bad cell they were 1.5 years old, free replacement from Interstate. The disconnect was clicking and when I checked the continuity it wasn't disconnected. A new one costs over $550, so I had nothing to loose by diesecting the disconnect. What I found was there was a little bit of rust that was keeping the plunger from moving or causing it to stick. Sanded, put a little WD-40 on it and now we'll see how long it lasts.
