"The Advanced Manufacturing Investment Credit (Section 48D) and manufacturing grant incentives have sparked substantial investments in the U.S. In fact, companies in the semiconductor ecosystem have announced over 100 projects across 28 states—totaling more than half of a trillion dollars in private investments—since 2020. These announced projects will create and support over 500,000 American jobs — 68,000 facility jobs in the semiconductor ecosystem; 122,000 construction jobs; and support over 320,000 additional jobs throughout the U.S. economy."
