S Illinois | I get tired of the hypocrisy and exaggeration. Just like this cane sugar coke deal. Coke is introducing a new line of cane sugar based soda that will be more expensive than HFCS based and will be an alternative product option in the retail market. It has been in the works for a while. The price point never made it viable.
Now Coke feels the opportunity is there to create another income source. Coke is not phasing out HFCS. Its was basically a product launch promotion. But it got sold as healthy Trump caused initiative.
Edit: And very few not in the industry will actually go research or care what the details are. A single post/tweet is a deep of dive as many take. Perfect recipe for manipulation.
