Dude. The Red Sea operation was the largest Naval engagement since WW II. It degraded our Ship to Surface missile inventory enough that we switched to guns to combat incoming. And then we drove down THOSE stores to the point we had to withdraw. We lost either 2 or 3 F 15's. We hit them with B2's, and within weeks they're sinking ships again. Granted, they aren't U.S. flagged ships because there aren't very many. But if you are seriously worried about getting into a war with China over Taiwan. That whole deal was pointless and left us severely depleted on munitions we'd need to protect our fleet.
