| Talk to about anyone in cow country that does business with cattle men. The cows just aren't out there anymore. Between packers screwing everyone downstream, drought and crazy feed prices, no help available, every available piece of land converted into crop land, an ever rising amount of UNLABELED imported beef, a lot of people just quit. I saw bred cows going to slaughter year after year with only the very best or most desirable going back to the country, No one should be shocked, much the same scenario as hogs, then sheep. | |
