Deere JD link is or was $1,000 for hardware and 3 years of service. Hardware is a mounting rack that uses one cab bolt and a gen3 antenna, power supply and router from Starlink.

Currently Starlink is advertising no cost for a gen3 antenna from them.

My understanding after the 3 years Deere is saying $100 for annual subscription. Starlink offers a $50 per month service but it’s capped at 50gb. So Deere subscription is cheaper but being in a piece of equipment data usage is also small.

Installed JD link boost on the tractor that pulls our sprayer. Will leave installed as is but I have a Starlink mini I’m mounting on the combine for harvest. No boxes in the cab with the mini.

I asked on here if all data would get streamed the same to operations center and never got a clear answer but I also asked about in a slightly confusing way.
