Jackson, mn | I gave up on big P years ago. It started when it was sold to them current owners. I planted big P only. The new owners only selected hybrids off test plots and missed out on Agronomics. I had two years where it green snapped and I ignored it. They immediately changed genetics and then they selected hybrids with no roots and it went flat. I got them free seed deals and it went flat again. Since I am a rube I took the free seed again and it went flat a third year. Since then I have planted nothing but monsatans corn. I missed the time when the ears dropped off in the fall. Big P only selects genetics off plot data and I don’t miss crossing my fingers through the year. I’m big on Agronomics and thems are the reason we ain’t seen big yield advances.
