Subject: shutting off individual spray nozzles

Oklahoma Panhandle
Some of you have said you only use every other nozzle for most spray applications. Example: boom setup on 15" but you normally spray on 30".

How do you shut off every other nozzle? A plugged cap? Do the nozzle bodies leak any?

I have TeeJet triple nozzle bodies. Our sprayer is set up on 20"; wish it was 30". I was wondering about going to 40" with bigger tips. Our Rogator boom won't go lower than 30", I think. We have terrible evaporation and wind most of the time.
Thanks.

PS - for UND's post below. We have used the Greenleaf nozzle for years. We are buying new nozzles and I'm leaning toward them but am considering TeeJets.
