For someone in an area lacking tile. When would you say they normally stop flowing? Do you measure the water table height?
Hilltop not trying to be a smart AZZ but tile flowing in July is very rare
Know where the free water is when the tile stop flowing we try to keep our laterals at shallower than 30"
It's just farming sometimes it works sometimes NOT so good we don't measure anything
Even better we have about 250 acres we tried sub irrigation with laterals 12' or less
long story didn't work --well water had iron-
now have center pivots about like watering a flower pot with holes in the bottom EXCEPT the soil types suck
