WCIL | We are in the land of ditchers and tile too. Have an Amco we use and a couple of homemade disk blade ditchers. This one we built a few years ago, makes about a 10" wide ditch, and can drive as fast you want. Doesn't work well in wetter ground as the 2 foot long slabs tend to fall back in the ditch, but moderate to dry ground works well. Our fields have old swales with small berms on each side from years of ditching that became a wet hole in themselves, so we used a 16 ft Landoll blade to roll the berm dirt back in the swales, and use the disk ditcher to make a small channel after planting. Also have a copy of the Sunflower EZ ditch that works in the wetter fields, but makes a wide ditch. Necessary evils in the bottoms, but we don't drown out this way (and with tile).
