| Nebraska is kinda a big place. Hamilton county (Laura Farms) has been getting rain. Most of the ‘it’s kinda dry here ‘ comments are from Southeast part of the state. It is historically the part of the state with the most yearly rain, and the last couple years have been seeing a noticeable departure from normal. Drive by a 30 ish acre NRD pond last week that was completely dry and another private pond about the same size less than a mile away, that just had about 1/4 of mud and a small pool of water. Never saw it anywhere near that until last year, and it has only gotten worse. | |
