North Central Indiana | It’s a perception issue imo. Just this week I mowed around a landlords pond for him, just like I have the last 15 years. Not bad, he calls every few weeks and I keep it cleaned up for him. So I’m out with the same 7210 and bushhog we’ve had for 20 years, and he comes out to talk. First thing “did you just get this new tractor and mower?” I laughed and said it’s the same setup we’ve always used but they were just cleaned up to be serviced. He says “but the tractors only a few years old isn’t it? No sir, it’s got 14,7xx hrs and was built in 1999.
And this is a guy who’s always watching, worked for and retired from international as a production manager, and is familiar with equipment. So the common person is even more unfamiliar and just knows the headline price for the new 9RX and thinks everything is that | |
