Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I agree with Herbie's response above. I have the wiring diagram for the two different Ag Leader adapter cables which could offer some clues to how yours should be wired.
Since I don't have any experience with the Deere rate controller wiring or the Viper Pro wiring, my drawings might only tend to confuse. I'm surprised that the foot switch seems to trigger the Master indicating that the Master connections would seem to be proper. Mine did not until I moved my Master wire to a new location and added a pull down resistor. Apparently the Master switch when "OFF" is really in float and not guaranteed to indicate a logic low. The pull down resistor may guarantee that the logic level of the Master switch when OFF is truly at logic LOW.
I believe the Master switch input was changed when Hagie went from a Master and 5 sections to a Master and more sections.
I hesitate to offer more suggestions since although my intentions are noble and I would really like to help, I know from experience that this might only tend to confuse the situation more. I don't know if the Deere controller gives you a switch input status. The Ag Leader system does which was very useful to check whether the Master and section switch status were what I would expect.
Good luck.
