We've plowed this ground before so no need to rehash it but the facts say otherwise to KBs "opinions."

We used to spend tax payer dollars to buy our wheat exports in the 1980s.. yes those buyers.. and the market.. graduated.

However, the Keynesian argument is that taxes spendt to increase economic activity "can" pay for themselves..

Aka Aid to Haiti.. Cargill pays 15% on its earnings.. UP BNSF.. and the barge companies get their bite.. the Coops.. the Custom Harvester.. the fertilizer and seed providers.. the growers.. Koch industries raises the price of fertilizer.. the truckers whom deliver.. the undocs.. as drivers or workers pay their share of taxes. 

Etc Maybe it doesn't get 100% but 7 x 15% would be 105% and not only do you prime the pump.. increase economic activity for this country as well as  their's.. but you also don't have to send the Marines to clear the way for Red Sea traffic lanes.. from Houtis.

Welp at least we’re saving taxes.. less taxes.. less income.. less jobs.. less everything.. cept Tariffs.. we’re paying MORE for those.

Rosalina Luna Vargas, a mother of two and the primary breadwinner for her family, was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers on Saturday morning around 8 a.m., according to bystanders. Her children were present at the time of the incident, which took place in broad daylight in the corner of Catalina and Del Mar.

The encounter was recorded by Jillian Reed, a Caltech alum and local resident, who was driving by when she noticed a commotion on the sidewalk.

Or you could be a political strategist.. “Sure we may have assaulted your neighbors.. detained your father.. deported your mother.. or taken your nursing wife away from your new born.. but.. at least we gave you tax cuts.. (which you’ll need to pay the tariffs.)
