West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | Back in my seed corn production days, we learned the extremely hard way that Accent herbicide caused certain parent seed corn inbreds to "silk wad" really bad. Yield was about one pro-box/100acres of seed bad. The Accent herbicide issue would follow through into the commercial corn hybrids that the parent seed corn inbreds produced to some extent.
Maybe some hybrids being susceptible to certain herbicides causing reproductive issues has become a concern again? |
