Southern Missouri | Certainly not trying to argue ,trying to learn , when you say plane does much better job on hills and rolling ground , does plane stay exact height above crop canopy like a drone does where you are ? They sure don’t here and I have trouble seeing where a 50 ft swath pattern stays the same when height above canopy is constantly changing because their forward speed is so fast , no way to keep constant height above canopy so isn’t 50 ft spray pattern constantly changing ? It seems impossible to me for it not to be , forward speed of drone can be easily changed by operator , as can maintaining very accurate height above canopy ,which to me is gonna lead to much more accurate spray pattern . When we’re setting at the edge of a field droning and wind speed reaches above 10 mph , we’re going to the house as usually the field owner is watching also , think plane operators go to the house at above 10 mph wind , I know the answer to that around us . | |
