Has anyone been able to utilize the Mavic 3M to fly fields and stitch together maps and create a script to load into your self-propelled sprayer? Does the drone have enough technology/image quality to do this task? This seems like the best scenario for a "see-and-spray" setup to me.
1)You could look at the map and decide what is the best tool for the task - Spray Drone vs Self-propelled sprayer.
2) you wouldn't have to put $100K+ in equipment on your sprayer. No worries about keeping cameras clean and safe.
3)No per acre fee to mother deere.
4) you could possibly ground truth the script before going out with the sprayer. Could make edits and possibly increase the area sprayed around where it has identified weed patches. Could spray areas in the field where there is known heavy weed pressure but may not have been identified by the camera.

Secondarily, could you utilize the Drone to map rocks like terra clear is doing? Are they using Lidar or otherwise?

Thoughts?
