Got 3 of these trucks I purchased used.   They were set up without a manual shift pad. So I checked around and discovered you can just install a new shift pad and update the program. So I ended up at Nuss Truck in Sauk Rapids MN. They are a Mack dealer there.  Cost about $860.00 apiece depending how many other  parameters I had them program.   They programed in performance mode plus manual shifting and I think the economy mode is in there also.  

Other things they set or changed depending what was already done.  Set no speed parameters. Shutoff idle timer shutdown. Shutoff seat belt warnings.  Shut off put in park warning if the truck is in neutral, but not in park and I open the door (to reach the scale ticket).  Set the truck to automatically shift the truck to neutral when I pull out the parking brake.  They charged like $5.00 to change different parameters.

  So on with the Nuss Truck shout out.  So they are doing  this shift update and then was informed that they all have a Emissions Recall ( MO308 SCR replacement ) . Allegedly about a 5,000.00 dollar muffler. So anyway they are not a Volvo dealer. But they would hook a pickup behind them and drive them to their Monticello store which is also a Volvo dealer for no charge and do the update there.  So then they let us drive a car back home until they get update done and we will pick them up there.
