East Central, Nebraska | why not wait until you pump water? i have never seen it take more than a few minutes start working when after the pivot starts moving after the battery had been dead. if its on a generator its obviously not full control.
i am sure one could acquire a reasonably priced charger though i have never needed one. i have about 20 units, i usually keep an extra one on hand, i have charged a battery before with the spare unit by just putting 110 power to it and plugging in the dead battery. another option if you have multiples would be to switch the battery on the generator pivot with a unit with line power supplied. my line supplied powered units are on all the time.
they make a new device that plugs in line of the battery that helps maintain battery power better than before. i am unsure what it is but i do know it makes the batteries last longer.
you might just ask your dealer if they have a charger, that would be the easiest. solar panels can be used to keep the batteries maintained but unless your using a tipping bucket i don't know why anyone would need to keep the battery charged up while not using it. it will report shortly after you start it moving next. | |
