SC NE | My dad was diagnosed about 10 years ago. At first it was hard on him because he was trying to do everything he was used to doing. After a couple years he decided to retire and I took over the majority of the row crop farming. He still does lots of odd jobs and most of the potato farming. He also still drives a grain truck during harvest. I help him hook equipment up, but once it's a simple tractor driving job he enjoys still farming.
My advice is to do what you feel comfortable doing. Don't overwork yourself, but also no point in sitting inside withering away. | |
