Subject: Variable rate planting beans

Since I have the software and planter capable of VRT planting, I was going to try it out on some of my corn acres. My question is, are their many out there that are doing VRT on beans? I am just curious, as I have a farm that is probably 75% heavy black bottom ground and the rest it's lighter clay. In the black ground, I always have problems with beans lodging, vs the lighter soil.
