| John Deere released the Grain Harvest weight sharing feature earlier this year in 2025.
Scale-Tec POINT, Digi-Star, Agrimatics, J&M iFarm, Unverferth UHarvest Pro, and Elmers Haulmaster are all compatible with the feature.
Each brand of scale system has unique hardware requirements. Some are very simple, some are a bit more complex with added accessory hardware and cabling in-between. I have gone through and put some links about the various scale brands and what is there publicly. The only brands I could not find much support on were the Digi-Star/Topcon and the Elmers Haulmaster.
Scale-Tec POINT: The system utilizes ISOBUS (embedded already inside every POINT in the field from day one). Just requires plug and play into the tractor ISOBUS connector at the back of the tractor.

U-Harvest Pro: The system utilizes ISOBUS. It may require a firmware update to the U-Harvest Pro, contact your Unverferth Dealer for more information. If a firwmare update is required, it will require a specific device maintained by the dealer to physically connect to the UHarvest Pro GCM and upload the update to the hardware. https://www.uharvest.net/support/#jd-requirements
Elmers Haulmaster: I am not 100% sure how this works, as I don't have much experience with this system. I believe it works with ISOBUS, but someone might be able to correct me. In similar way to Scale-Tec POINT and U-Harvest, the interaction would be plug and play at the back of the tractor. Keeping everything outside of the cab.
Digi-Star: The system utilizes RS232 communication and specific cable configurations, depending on the type of display you have (ie..command arm display vs. free standing G4 or G5 display). For command arm displays, it may involve removal of the tractor upholstery to get to the necessary connection. It may also mean populating some pins within a connector for the RS232 communication in the display. For the Digi-Star system to work correctly, the system must be new enough to support a serial J905 port (labeled on the bottom of the indicator. Also, it may require serial port configuration settings to be setup or changed to allow for proper streaming of the serial weight advertisement from the scale. Typically a Digi-Star scale out of the box with a serial port is setup for a printer, and is not configured to stream the weight advertisement continously, so will likely take some menu settings change with a setting called SCOREM.
Agrimatics/J&M iFarm: The system utilizes an accessroy called the serial link. It is a bluetooth to serial device that communicates via the Libra Harvest mobile app or iFarm Cart mobile app from the Agrimatics Libra box/device. (Requires the Libra Harvset app to be running on the mobile device) From the serial link accessory, it utilizes hardwire connection similar to the Digi-Star setup with RS232. For command arm displays, it may involve removal of the tractor upholstery to get to the necessary connection inside the cab. It may also mean populating some pins within a connector for the RS232 communication in the display. https://support.agrimatics.com/article/581-serial-link-grain-harvest...
