cropsey, il 61731 | I'm looking for a Muncie pto unit (usually painted blue) that fits a Ford 5R110 automatic transmission (2007 Ford F550). The part number starts with a FR67 (it's possible that an FR63 or FR63 might work). Ideally it would be a 1.25 shaft drive, but I can reconfigure the pto unit.
I'm installing a compressor/generator from a lineman truck and it's shaft driven. My F550 is 4wd so I had to get a special transfer case that has a hole cut in it with a bearing for the pto shaft to go through. Right now I have a chelsea pto unit, but muncie and chelsea don't locate their output shaft at the same height (the transfer case builder uses muncie) so the shaft is angled making the hole clearance a little tight.
