SW WI | I’ve always had Ritchie waterers so no other to compare to.
I think the white heat cord that you can attach to the water line is way too long. I try to thread it down the tube where water line comes up….way too long. The bowl heating element has a tendency to vibrate out. I’ve tried widening that thing out to make it fit more snug in the brackets…no go. Float setting needs attention from time to time. Little ass wing nut to tighten on plastic….not great in winter conditions. Give me something substantial that I’m not worried about snapping off.
Most parts are available at local farm store, so there’s that.
Once again, I don’t know if better or worse than others out there but the above things are my dislikes. | |
