| 115 has the aircooled 1600cc? VW Engine. The transmission is the VW transmission (and clutch) as well. The 2XX machines had a liquid cooled bigger VW engine. I had a 115 and I got engine parts from a local VW shop that did old VW and VW restoration work. They could get new aftermarket parts. You can probably find them yourself on the internet. The fella helping me said the part number on the engine part was from a VW engine built in South America but was the same part as the German part number. I would look around for someone doing VW restoration work. Simpson Farm Enterprises in Ransom KS was always good about knowing where to find Spra-Coup parts for me. | |
