I did this last fall to my '24 3.0. Added 2L (tops) to a full fuel tank while engine was running, realized immediately what I had done and shut the engine off. Called insurance, called my dealer and $18000cdn in parts and labour later I had my pickup back 5mo later, it was a nightmare to get parts.
Tank, lines, sensors, pumps and injectors all new.

Did insurance cover anything...My nephew was told sorry for your luck. $1k cdn. & 2 days later he was back on the road . Maybe 3.0 is different as bigger diesels the DEF seldom goes past water filter...repaired at https://nutekauto.com/ |
