A very good friend of mine did this on the first fuel fill up on a Duramax 3.0. . .
An independent compentant garage could have drained,filtered it ,flush,refilter for less than $1k
I understand the stress everyone was under...Best never to take a issue like that to a dealer,and I know being new,stressed you just make best choice you can at the time
Hope the dealer didnèt rape him on the trade.
Fwiw dealer probably just was following GM service protocal
