The Vermeer website will answer any questions about options. There is a page where you can compare the features of up to 4 balers.

I have a 504R Premium. I went with a Premium because I thought the options were well worth the added cost. I think my monitor is the 4.3 inch, the 7 inch appears to be standard now on the new Premiums.

I wasn't sure the cam-less pick-up was a good idea, but it has been very good at picking up everything I've had to bale and the number of moving parts eliminated should be good for long term maintenance.

My baler has the 17 inch tire option, I think it's worth it.

I would buy another Vermeer, but must admit this is my first round baler, I have less than 2k bales on it, and I have no experience with other brands.

I don't know about the spin speed, but as with most modern round balers, ground speed is most often determined by what you can tolerate and stay in the seat. If you can drive over it it's going to eat it.
