El Campo/Houston, TX | All good thought . Reason wanted to go to Hose was because it will never rust again , esp not a Teflon one . PTFE hoses never break down and stay good forever. We have several great hydraulic shops right here that can make them for less than a steel line. Also so much easier to connect. The problem is that -5 stuff is basically all for fire suppression and aircraft from what I read and so therefore is scarce as hens teeth . I know that my 500 HP Cummins 855 gets 100 percent of its fuel through a 1/4 inch line BUT it is on the pressure side of the pump. | |
