I don't want to turn this political, but I really have to question the wisdom of requiring a substance that can do close to $20K in damage that you generally fill up when you fill with fuel, and usually has the filler cap right next to the fuel cap.
You would think that they could have found a better location, even under the hood could work. Been thinking about buying a new truck with the 3.0 litre but worry about this problem.
No. Def was under hood on earlier duramax and that was really a pain.
