If you look at some of the historical yields vs trend and percentage over trend it looks possible to hit 13-15% over trend if history repeats itself. The would be yields well over 200bu/ac. That being said I think newer hybrids have leveled the yield fluctuations significantly so may not see such large swings going forward as we did in the past. Be curious how many guys on here would be happy achieving the trend yield each year. I think many even in a fringe state like Ohio wouldn’t be real happy with only trend. Sometimes makes you wonder if in all reality if USDA under reports yield.
