Don’t see it happening with too many areas that will be average. Takes absolutely 0 hiccups to get trendline yield 6-7 bushel better than where we have ever been. My area that grows a large portion of the corn yields that can prop up the state is not going to do that this year. SIL, SIN, OH, some MN, dryland in NE, all have to be excellent to get those yields. Not going to happen. I’ll gladly take a bus full of traders through my fields right now and they’ll have to explain to me how corn that’s tasseling at 3 foot tall and some at 8’ is going to produce the record they are penciling in. Doesn’t matter though it’ll come out in the wash soon enough. Carry on
