He wants to use it on 3 trailers not just one.
And a pony motor on one trailer is far cheaper than a pto wet kit on a truck.
Once again no.
I am looking at buying a tilt deck or a lowboy or a traveling axle trailer, depending on how a few auctions go. The trailer would not see a terrible lot of use, but we need something heavier than a gooseneck a couple times a year.
You need a wetkit or pony motor to even hook up to most of them.
We have 3 trucks. Any one of them may be used on the trailer.
So, instead of a few thousand dollar wetkit x3 for a trailer that would see little use, to me a pony motor set up makes the most sense to me. All three types of trailers just have a few hydraulic cylinders, but pressure and flow *on a trailer* are an unknown to me as:
Are they built differently than farm and construction equipment?
Are pressures different?
I doubt it but, do you need 50 gallons for a couple of cylinders?
Etc etc. |
