SC WI | I have had quite a few 8Rs to this point. I currently have a 2010 8345R and an ‘18 8320R. Sitting side by side I go for the 8345R more often. I really like ILS and IVT. I did have an 8260R, it was a pretty nimble tractor compared to others, had 1300 front end and 16sp, unfortunately it wasn’t enough tractor for doing my tillage, and I didn’t like it not having ILS, field travel speeds keep increasing pretty much requiring front suspension on my operation.
All have been pretty dependable, even the higher houred ones. ILS does have more ownership cost. Varicool fan drive seems to be a common issue, but is easily repaired. | |
