North Central Indiana
Had an 8235R, think it was a 2012, we replaced a JD 4630 with it. That was a nice tractor, powershift and no ils. Traded it on a 9430 as we gained some acres and needed more tillage capacity but that’s one I’d like to have back now. It was enough tractor for a 16 row planter here and it pulled a j&m 875 grain cart. I actually bid on one on an auction 2 weeks ago but didn’t get it bought. We do have a 2018 8345R now and really like it. NH3, planter, 1100 bushel cart. It has ILS and IVT. It seems silly to say but it’s far nicer to run all day than the 8310 it replaced even though the 8310 really did have a good cab setup.
Although it all comes down to cost and there are days when I look back and long for the operating costs of the 8235R, 8310 and 8760 we used to run. But there’s no denying the comfort level for a long day is far better now
