The three digit, hand clutch, two cylinder Deeres had the fuel tank above the engine right in front of the operator’s station. We had a 520 gas that developed a leak in the sediment bowl. If you forgot to turn off the fuel when shutting down a hot engine it could result in a fire. It did exactly that on at least one occasion. |
