Mather, Manitoba | Fuel rail pressure issues with a tune. Sounds like the fuel rail pressure relief valve. Pretty much a one time use valve. Once they pop their done. Wont hold pressure as it used to. Itll just return fuel back to tank. You can take return line off at end of rail and mash on it. If fuel comes out there the valve needs replacing.

A hairline crack in oem filter housing will drive you nuts trying to find the problem. Best way to check: with it shutoff for a duration of time, tap on top of filter with something small and metallic. If filter sounds hollow then your problem is there. Its sucking air there. Either filter housing cracked or possibly WIF valve/sensor on bottom of filter.
I replaced all this on my 05, plus dropped tank and cleaned out in tank filter. I ended up putting in a Faas system back 10 years ago and engine been running 100% since.
