south west in | We made a adapter. We used a piece of 3"angle iron for the top. We cut one side down to 1.5" and made it so that the narrow side laid down flat. We welded to nobs on top to hook into the Deere frame. Then filled in the sides with flat metal. The drive shafts do not line up. We cut the Deere shafts off and put a Carrier bearing on. Then used PTO shafts to run it. We had a 920 Deere head on ours and we used a 1020 header switch for header control. We mounted it on the right side and used a double ball joint (like one from a holly double pumper carb) to control it and have adjustablty. It was hooked to the rod that runs the red sight ball. | |
