tennessee | I got some straw jammed up where in the baler yesterday and my belt broke. Put new one on and ran about 25 bales....ran perfect. Turned pto off to turn sharp at end of field and as soon as I turned it back on it broke another belt! I was at 1,000 rpms when I engaged pto again so it wasn't a hard start. I can turn it by hand and dont feel anything binding. I thought that belt should slip instead of break in a bind? This is a new baler to me and I have very limited experience with square balers. Any ideas? | |
