Subject: 8250 case with 42’ stripper settings

Latimer Iowa
We just picked a 42 foot shelbourne stripper head to run on a 8250. What concaves do you guys recommend? On our FD250 macdon we had issues getting material out of the rotor fast enough so are running 2 round bar and 2 large wire in front. Second combine has all large wire currently. I do have a set of 4 small grains concaves I could throw 2 or 4 in if it’s recommended? Thinking we won’t need the round bar because of it being a stripper head?

This will be on 130-180 bpa oats with some lodging and some green yet.
