NE SD | Well I am the person that began this post, and I am mortified by your response. We send our daughter there for 40 hours a week. She is learning with all the kids there. She has done things that we wouldn't have taught her at home. I have full trust in our provider. She treats her like her own. She doesn't sugar coat her day at all. The germs she brings with her and home helps her imune system. When we grew up we helped with hog chores and probably built our imune systems up by being around animals. To me it is the same with daycare. She gets a cold and gets over it. Who says that she didn't get it from home.
I hope that our daughter although tramitized by the experience, will grow up to be a strong family oriented person. I think that diversification, like on a farm, can only help broaden her socially and mentally.
Sorry
