Would it be better if the foot pegs were higher?
I am 6' tall and don't have the syndrome that is impacting your discomfort, but my worsening arthritis leads me to believe that I wish the pegs were much higher and wider (and had something to rest your heels in) on our 7230 combine. I was not thinking of something closer to the height of the highway pegs on a Harley.
