Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I would get a ferrule kit and pliers also for such jobs. The ferrule kit consists of different sized sleeves that can be placed over stranded wires. These sleeves are pinched on the wires with a special pliers. This keeps the stands together and provides a good place for the set screw in the plug to bite into the bundle of strands.
