It also is a metal box with metal conduit.
So you are saying the ground receptacle is connected to the metal tabs holding the receptacle in.
That makes sense. I did not see that connection on the receptacle but that is the only thing that makes sense.
As hard as it was to pull I am sure not going to take it apart again.
I was changing a camper plug to a welder type plug. The electrician had the wires so tight I had to unhook the wires from the breaker box and back feed the wire to get enough slack to pull the receptacle ! | |
