Sunburst Montana | It’s in one of my JD books. I can post a scan later on. They were working on this idea during the 4840 development. From what I remember the tires weren’t holding up but the engineers thought they could overcome that by making tires out of the same type of material used for diesel hoses. But then there was the complexity of the system so in the end they just simply put a bigger fuel tank on the 4840. | |
