| We switched tractors on our older Summers pull type sprayer and on the 450 monitor the rate screen was blank and had the alarm go off. Checked all the connections and got it working perfectly for the day. next day same issue, nothing worked, decided to go western and speeded up the tractor to try and get a load out before we lost weather conditions. Hit a bump and the readout came to life and read 8.5 gallon per minute right where we wanted to be for about 300 yards and then went blank. got out, checked connections, tapped the control valve with my leatherman, jumped in and right away it worked for another 250 yards than went blank. all connectors seem tight and fine. this sprayer sat for 3 years before we dusted it off and had sprayed about 5 hundred acres before we switched tractors.. i'm thinking the valve itself has issues. before I relace any thoughts? | |
