When IH moved the fuel tank behind the cab in the 86 sieries and moved the cab forward it wasnt for "better comfort" The 86's road much worse than the 06-56-66's they replaced and were a pain to get in and out of. They did that I guess to increase fuel tank size
Have you ever been in a 66 with a cab? That is terrible compared the the 86/88.
